A handcrafted one of a kind pendant, set with a beautiul forest-like 44.08ct dendritic opal. Embraced with 14 karat yellow gold claws, the warming glow of pure (24kt) gold fused to sterling silver through the process of Keum Boo can be seen through the opal. The opal is draped in sterling silver vines and blossoms with 14kt yellow gold buds. The pendant is suspended from a handcrafted chain of sterling silver and 14kt yellow gold and secured with a toggle clasp.
 
Connecting with nature is known to have positive effects on our mental and physical health. During covid lockdowns escaping when we could to explore parks and follow hidden and often muddy paths through forests, allowed me some time away from what felt like such eternal bleakness and provided me with time to breathe and find inspiration and hope.
 
Being lost in nature, I felt grateful to listen to the bird song, observe the delicate buds on trees blossom and fall and see the sun set through the trees and rise again on a new day bringing renewed hope of our world returning to normal albeit slightly changed.
