With its beautifully textured wings giving the illusion of flight, this handcrafted dragonfly necklace is a delight to wear everyday or for special occasions. This elegant necklace celebrates warm sunny days and was inspired by my visit to Compton Verney a Stately home in Warwickshire with glorious gardens in bloom, with lakes where the dragonflies and damselflies hovered with mesmerising beauty above the waters.
 
The dragonfly is suspended from an 18 inch sterling silver chain - please note following feedback I have changed this chain from the ball chain pictured to a lovely rope chain - new photos to follow! 
 
Vanessa reclaims all her scrap precious metal, melts and rolls it herself into sheet or wire. This guarantees that no precious metal is wasted. Vanessa used sterling silver salvaged from off cuts in her workshop to make this stunning sterling silver dragonfly. 
 
All items of jewellery are crafted inhouse by Vanessa Miller in her workshop in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter. All orders are carefully crafted and beautifully finished, tucked inside a box wrapped in tissue paper and delivered to you nestled inside a recycled carton.
